Who we are...

The Family Festival is under the leadership of our pastor, Rev. Gerard Gentleman, principal Mr. Brian Jensen, and the Family Festival Committee, which is comprised of all current School Board members and other members of the parish, including former school families still devoting their time to this event. The event is staffed by school parent volunteers fulfilling their voluntary parental financial obligation to the school.


This is an enormous undertaking and requires the hands and expertise of many people. We are successful thanks to the support of every single family in our school.

The St. Rose of Lima Family Festival is the largest school fundraiser of the year with proceeds going directly to the school's operating budget. Held each year in mid July, the festival runs for 8 nights over 2 weekends.


Highlights include the ever popular rides provided by our "partner in fun" Newton Shows of Northport, NY, carnival games, a kiddie corral providing games for our youngest children, gaming wheels for adults, nightly entertainment, a wide variety of food trucks providing carnival fare, and our famous zeppoles. Pay One Price bracelets are sold nightly and on a discounted basis via presale at The parish-wide raffle mailing begins in June with the grand prize cash drawing taking place on the closing Saturday night.
